Hi everyone! This is another idea that I made at work… It’s a classic on Christmas time: the ginger cupcakes.
Ingredients
- 350 g of butter
- 150 g of brown sugar
- 200 g of golden syrup
- 6 eggs
- 350 g of self raising flour
- Ginger powder
- Mix spice powder
- 400 g of butter for icing
- 800 g of icing sugar
- Vanilla essence
- Chocolate for decoration
Procedures
Start to melting the butter with the brown sugar and the golden syrup in a pan.
When is all melted, let it rest for few minutes. Meanwhile, start beating the eggs in the mixer and gently pour the melt butter mix in it.
Add the spice to the mix . The quantity is up too you, but a couple of teaspoons would be fine.
Gradually add now the flour. Mix well everything together, and add the mix in the case with the help of a spoon .
Fill only the first three quarters of the case.
Bake them for 15/20 min, checking them during the baking. When they raise and the color become gold-ish, remove from the oven.
Let them cool down well and dress them with royal icing and decoration.
Enjoy it… Ciao!!!
