Hi everyone. Today I enjoy making these lovely almond biscuits, very popular in the south of Italy.
They are very quick to make, but they are really yummy. They are also suitable for any celebration day.
Ingredients
- 150 g of almond flour
- 110 g of sugar
- 2 egg whites
- A couple of drops of almond essence
Procedures
These biscuits are very easy to make. Start mixing the eggs whites with sugar, and then add the almond essence.
Add gradually the almond flour to it.
The consistency of the mix needs to be sticky at the end.
Make some mini balls and flat them down. Then put in the middle an almond or a candied cherry, and let them rest in the fridge for a couple of hours.
After the two hours cover them with icing sugar and bake them for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
