Orange and chocolate mini cake

Hi everyone today I enjoy making this lovely and really soft mini cakes with orange and chocolate.

A good idea for a Xmas treat.

Ingredients

  • 250g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 60g of butter
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 orange zest and juice
  • 150g greek yogurt ( you can use low fat too)
  • icicng sugar
  • 8g baking powder
  • chocolate drops ( white and milky)
  • vanilla essence q.b.

In a bowl put the eggs and the sugar, work them well together for about 5 minutes.

Add now the yogurt, vanilla essence, soft butter, orange zest and juice.

Agglomerate well all these ingredients with the egg and sugar mix.

Add now gradually the flour and the baking powder.

When the flour is agglomerate to the mix add the chocolate drops to the mix.

When the mix is ready , use a bit of oil for the mini cake cases, you can used the spray one if you got.

Start to put a spoon of the mix in each of mini cake cases.

Fill 3/4 of this mini cases.

Slice the other orange how you prefer, I done it in a way that it look like a mini trees, and sprinkle some sugar on top of it.

Pre heat the oven at static mode at 180 degrees.

Baked them for 20 minutes.

Let them cool down before you will remove them from the cases.
