Hi everyone this is my lovely apple roses cake with pine nuts.
It is a straight forward cake to make. The only thing you need to have is a bit of patience doing the apple roses.

Ingredients
- 4/5 apples dipends on their size
- 120g of flour
- 10g of baking powder
- 60g of sugar plus 2 tablespoon
- 60g of butter
- 2 eggs
- vanilla essence
- 1 espresso cup of milk

Procedures
Apple roses
Lets start from the apple roses. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices, drizzle on top a bit of lemon juice and leave them on the side for now.
In a pan put two glass of water and two tablespoon of sugar, add the apples and cook them for 3 minutes until soft.
Drain the syrup from the apples and dry the slices on a kitchen paper until cold.

Then take 6/7 slices roll them together and create your own roses.


The cake
Now when all the roses are made we can start to make the cake. The first step is to divide the yolks from the egg whites.

Mix the whites until is nice and firm and leave it on the side.
Add the sugar to the yolks and mix it for few minutes. Then add gradually the rest of the ingredients: melted butter, vanilla essence, milk, flour and baking powder.
Now add your egg whites gently with a spoon to the cake mix.

When the mix is ready, and before baking , add the rest of the apples that you got left from the roses and the pine nuts and mix it with a spoon to the cake mix.

The baking
Pour the cake mix into your baking tray and display on top of the cake mix your apple roses with few pine nuts around.

Bake your cake for 30-35min depends of your oven at 180 degrees, check it out through the baking and enjoy it.
